Pangea Day, May 10, 2008

Pagea Day logo

A friend who is a huge cinema fan shared information on a unique event called “Pangea Day” that I wanted to share too; All over the world, and in several dozen venues right here in Oregon, people are gathering to watch films made “by the world, for the world”. A mix of social film and music festival and broadcast live on the internet should prove to be a wonderful event. It’s designed for people to gather together to watch. I didn’t see anyone organizing a gathering on the coast (except for “George’s House” in Coos Bay – check out the map of

public and private venues) but you still have time to call a friend, or at least plan to drop in solo on the Internet on Saturday, May 10, at 11:00 a.m. PST.
