Netarts-Oceanside Fire Department Recognition Dinner

What: Netarts-Oceanside Fire Department Recognition Dinner
When: Saturday March 8th, 6pm
Where: Netarts-Oceanside Fire Hall, 5th Street Loop in Netarts
Who: Netarts and Oceanside Community Member who are grateful for our fire fighter’s service
This note just in from Oceanside Community Club President Kent Brown:

On Saturday March 8th, the Oceanside and Netarts Community Clubs will jointly sponsor a recognition and thank you dinner for the Netarts-Oceanside Fire Department Volunteers. It will be a potluck dinner at the Fire Hall. The Clubs will provide baked ham, guests should bring salad, a side dish or dessert. We are not asking the volunteers to bring anything so provide enough to be able to share with them. Bring your own table service and plates. The Chief says we can even bring our before dinner wine. This is an opportunity for both communities to get together and say thank you to those who volunteer to serve all of us. Be there at 6pm for social time. Dinner will begin at 6:30pm and will be followed by the program recognizing Department volunteers. If you would like to drop a cold dish off earlier in the day, the station will be manned beginning at 8am.

We hope to have a large turnout so tell your neighbors and be sure to attend, so we can recognize those who are there for us when needed.

Deb’s comment: Netarts Community Club President Bruce Lovelin is also spreading the word and you can too by letting your neighbors know. This presents a special opportunity for folks who can not easily attend the usually-Monday-evening pot lucks in Oceanside to honor our firefighters AND spend some time socializing with the community.
