It’s Sunday afternoon. The sun has been out much of the day. Despite the closure of the Wilson River Highway for the weekend, I met families on the beach this morning who had braved black ice on Highway 26 to make their way out to Oceanside Beach. They were rewarded with the long intense rays of the winter sun on glassy blue-green water and gravely beaches. The tunnel is still full of driftwood from the December storms but passable with a little extra care.
It’s rained/snowed a few times. When the sun returns, you won’t find me blogging. Oops! Gotta go now. Hope you get some sun on your face too wherever you are today.
