Oregon Land Use Board of Appeals Hears Anchor Issue

Not to be confused with actual news, but in the category of highly reliable gossip; I ran into David VanSpeybroeck today on Pacific Avenue. David is one of the Anchor Inn & Tavern appellants. He’s feeling good about the case made before LUBA earlier this week in Salem, and says a decision may come as early as January 30.

We wrapped our conversation with a very important transaction – the purchase of three boxes of Girl Scout Cookies from his two daughters. Do your part and do the same when asked. It’s a good program, and beside being fun and educational, builds self-confidence and leadership skills in young women.
