Sunday morning, January 20 at 10 a.m. I’m headed to Brewin’ in the Wind and videotaping Eric and Molly Sappington (“Mercury”) performing. Last week we figured it would be pretty quiet, and we’d have the place to spread out, muck about, and experiment with amature music video.
The weather today was heavenly. The sun warmed the near-empty beaches. Recent storms had bared the rocks and cleaned the sands from Tunnel Beach, leaving masses of gravelly rock. The agates were running. In the valley, business colleagues reported grim gray skies and featureless horizons. Bummer for-dem.
The weather in fact is so nice that I predict Valleyites will take the long way around the Highway 6 closure this coming long weekend (major undercuts and looming slides near the Wilson River Summit) and come party in the sun.
In short, we may have small throngs wandering through our music video short. I’ll be shooting the duo, the crowds and the exteriors. I have no idea what I’m doing, but it sure sounds like fun. Come join the party. See you there!
