Anchor Tavern Seeks Regulatory Consent for “Additional Privilige”

More updates from yesterday’s Oceanside Neighborhood Association meeting; the Anchor Tavern is clearly within its current zoned use to add exotic dancing to its menu, so has passed go with the Land Use folks per county representative. Next stop; the Oregon Liquor Control Commission (OLCC). I do not have the details at hand, but understand that the Anchor has just noticed the public through a posted sign on its building that it intends to expand its operations to include live entertainment – in technical terms, “Additional Privilege” (see downloadable OLCC Staff Actions list) – which creates a public comment period of two weeks with the OLCC.

Also included in the updates; Bill Campbell, Tillamook county planning director has shared plans to retire and the county will begin a search to replace him, as well as to back-fill the coastal planning liaison position which Lisa Phipps vacated on her move up to planning manager.
