Green Crow Update

Extending the status quo of an incomplete application with the county, Green Crow has not provide needed documents by the end of June as they had expressed their intention to the county earlier this year. Tillamook County Coastal Planner Lisa Phipps reported at today’s Oceanside Neighborhood Association meeting that it would most likely be no earlier than October before Green Crow’s pending application for expansion of their quarry activities would come before the county planning commission. Community members continue to anticipate a request that includes rezoning forestland to allow for use of the old “200 line” quarry to a commercial aggregate mining operation (please see “mine zone” for details).
