Green Crow Application Status Update

By way of email to Oceanside Neighborhood Association (ONA) President Judson Randal, Tillamook County Coastal Planner & liaison to the ONA Lisa Phipps reports that the hearing of Green Crow’s application has been delayed and will not be heard on May 12. Green Crow continues to be incomplete in providing documents to finish up their application for mineral overlay zone change and expansion of its existing quarries near neighboring communities Netarts, Oceanside and Cape Meares. This leaves the extremely tentative May 24 Tillamook County Planning Commission Hearing in very light pencil for the Washington corporation. Residents and other property owners in all three unincorporated areas continue to monitor the issue closely.

From the original county email shared by Randall:

“Also, the Green Crow hearing has been postponed – we are now tentatively looking at a May 24th hearing. The applicant’s response will determine the timeline now – when we receive the additional materials, we will then be able to concretely notice the meeting. But, it is definitely not scheduled for May 10th.
Thank you,
Lisa “
