Local Property Owners Speak Out on Mines

A group of independant and concerned Oceanside homewoners, many of them from the Capes, recently contacted the ONA seeking futher support in their efforts to limit increased mining activities in our area. Their general interest is in preseving the Netarts, Cape Meares and Oceanside areas. Area homeowners include Anne and Jim Bethell, Stella and Rick Clyne, Jim and Wanda Partin, Gene Mitchell, Lloyd and Marriette Klefstad and John Hooson. Two letters have been provided by Wanda Partin on their behalf. According to the group, 80 property owners have already signed up to endorse the letters.
