I recently ran across this use of one of the photos I’d taken last winter during our December storm.  The editor of a web site feature called “Weird Weather” found this and other shots taken by locals in the Pacific Northwest to support their global warming awareness campaign (and of course general traffic to their web site).  I received photo credit and my 1.5 minutes of fame.  You can their site to see a few others, including the real mess of debris that Vernonia Oregon suffered through – one of the hardest hit areas in Oregon.

Cape Meares Park Storm Damage

Cape Meares neighbor and bird-watcher extraordinaire Delena Engsberg shared a few photos she took last week while walking down the park road to the Cape Meares Lighthouse. Hope our resident falcons in the cove faired well through the not-so-fair weather. Thanks for sharing Delena.
